ABOUT MAGGIE

Maggie Beattie Roberts has over 20 years of experience working with K-12 public schools. She specializes in curriculum development, literacy, and students with learning differences.

Maggie holds a Master of Arts in literacy education from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as professional certification in learning differences, executive functioning, and neurodiversity (ADHD and Autism) from Landmark College.

She and her partner, Kate, founded K & M Literacy, LLC in 2016 and offer personalized professional development to public schools nationwide. She co-wrote the popular text for educators, DIY Literacy: Teaching Tools for Differentiation, Rigor, and Independence, and is under contract for two upcoming professional texts on curriculum and brain-based foundational writing skills.
